Classical Pilates teaches the exercises taught by founder Joseph Pilates, in the order that he taught them and the names he referred to them.

The Classical method centers on the 6 principles of Pilates: Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, and Flow.  In this beginner series you will learn the Basics of the Reformer Repertoire while improving posture, breath and function. The progression of a workout starts in a horizontal position lying down, where gravity helps activate the core connection and progresses to a vertical sitting or standing.
